WhaleStats, a blockchain-data tracking website, recently reported that the 254th biggest ETH Whale tagged “BlueWhale0073” has just made a massive purchase of (99.29B) SHIB, worth ($1.05M) in one robust transaction.
This acquisition follows the recent partnership between Shiba Inu’s Metaverse project, International Women of Blockchain (IWB), and NowPayments to promote women’s involvement in the blockchain industry.
According to WhaleStats data, Shiba Inu remains the top holding in dollar value for the 2000 largest ETH Whales, totaling ($606.55M) held in their wallets.
The Whales’ interest in the most popular canine-themed cryptocurrency Shiba Inu has resurfaced as the Shibarium Public Beta Testnet sets new records almost daily. The Puppynet has reached over 200K wallet addresses with (1.02M) transactions, a significant increase from earlier reports by The Crypto Basic.
The attention among validators is also increasing, with over 500 validators expressing their interest in joining the network, as per SHIB lead developer Shytoshi Kusama.
But that’s not all – the Shiba Inu community is reducing the SHIB’s gigantic supply by millions daily. In a recent development, Koyo (KYO) burned a whopping 794,858,822 (794.85M) SHIB through one significant transaction.
Adding to the excitement, Shiba Inu launched a new Twitter account for Shiba Inu’s non-fungible token (NFT) Shiboshi on March 28. Within just two days, the SHIBOSHIS account has already attracted 1,521 followers, indicating a strong interest in this new development.
As of press time, Shiba Inu is trading at $0.00001057, down -0.89% over the last day, with a 24-hour trading volume of ($159.52M).
